What does 963 Hz mean?

963 Hz is the highest of the nine Solfeggio frequencies, a set of tones used in meditation and sound-healing practices. In that tradition it is often called the “frequency of oneness” and is associated with the crown chakra, deep meditation and a sense of connection and clarity. These are spiritual associations, not medical claims: what you actually get is calm, slow music with a particular tuning.

How this version was made

Re-tuned: the whole track has been pitched down by 44 cents (a little less than half a semitone), so the note B sits at exactly 963 Hz instead of 988 Hz. Tempo and length are unchanged.
963 Hz tone: a soft, pure 963 Hz sine tone runs underneath the music at a low level (about 22 dB below the mix), fading in and out. It is easy to verify with any spectrum analyzer.
